Power 

In physics Power means the time rate of doing work. The SI unit of Power is the watt and in the US Customary system of units the unit of Power is the horsepower, which is about the same as 746 watts.

Power = P =W/t = Work/Time is the equation used for Power.

In Electricity Power is usually measured in kilowatts.

Power is also considered to mean authority, which can be financial, military, physical, political or religious.
