Pope John Paul II

Sometime during 1996 Pope John Paul II is said to have issued an official Vatican statement that stated that Jesus Christ was the only offspring of Mary and that James therefore could not have been his Brother. (See "The Second Messiah" p2-3) This does not agree with what is in the current Holy Bible.  Perhaps the Holy Bible will again be rewritten to agree with a Pope's decree.
