Perpetual Virginity of Mary

For some reason the Catholic Church insists that its followers believe that Mary was a Virgin when she had Jesus Christ and that she never ever had Sexual Intercourse.  Poor girl unless perhaps Mary did not like men, or perhaps hated the idea of Sexual Intercourse, which is hard to imagine if she never tried it, or perhaps she was saving herself for another visit by a God.  Poor Joseph!  They must have had a real fun life together!  Could she have preferred women or was Joseph simply too old to do his manly duty?

I have no idea why they teach this since the Holy Bible states that Jesus Christ had a Brother known as James the Just.  Of course God could have come back and laid with her again to give Jesus a brother, but the Holy Bible does not seem to indicate that that is what happened.  If God, or perhaps his underling, had sex with Mary, then the siblings of Jesus would be just as much a God as Jesus.  We are left to assume that Joseph finally got to have sex with Mary to produce the siblings of Jesus.

There must be some political agenda to insist on the probable falsehood that Mary never had any more children. The Catholic Church's stand on this is hard to believe at least if one believes the Holy Bible instead of the comments of a Pope.  Of course according to the strange belief of the Infallibility of the Pope the idea must be correct since a Pope is never wrong in matters dealing with religion.

Pope John Paul II issued a statement about the Perpetual Virginity of Mary in 1996. 

Mary being said to have been a Virgin may have has a lot to do with the Constellation Virgo.

Assuming that Mary was a Virgin when she got pregnant with Jesus Christ assumes she was just one of the many Mothers of God who were considered to have been a Virgin when they had sex with a God, or one of God's representatives. One must remember also that throughout the History of Religion most, if not all, of the so-called Saviors or Gods have been born of a Virgin.  See Virgins who gave Birth for more information.

It appears that periodically the Supreme Being commands one of His, or Her, underlings to go to Earth and make love to a Virgin so that the Human Race can get more confused and start yet another Religion.  Every time this happens is like throwing another Monkey-Wrench into the works, or some more gasoline onto the fire.  With the modern cameras and webcams perhaps the next time sex with a God, or with a  representative of God, occurs, it will be filmed and posted on the Internet so that it can be somewhat proven.
