Pencil

The Pencil is said to be one of the many tools of a Master Mason.  It symbolizes creative thought.

Most pencils are made of either wood or some synthetic substance.  The part of the pencil that makes the mark on paper is usually called the lead but it is usually made out of a form of graphite instead of lead.

A piece of lead can be used to create a mark on a piece of paper.
