Pakistan 

The country of Pakistan was formed on 14 August 1947 as an Islamic nation and a refuge for Muslims. ("The Nuclear Jihadist: page 5)

Pakistan was originally a nation split in two with an Eastern part and a Western part with India in the middle.  This seems to have been the result of some brilliant planning on the part of the British.  Why would they do this? East Pakistan became Bangladesh after the West Pakistani military surrendered to the Inidans in December 1971.

Pakistan lost a war with India over Kashmir in 1948. ("The Nuclear Jihadist: page 7)
