Pagan Traditions for Winter Solstice
(Last modified on 29 Dec 2010 00:06 )

Some of the ancient Pagan Traditions for Winter Solstice that are celebrated around the Winter Solstice include:

    1) Bringing Evergreens into the house.

    2) Decorating trees.

    3) Gift giving.

    4) Mistletoe.

    5) Wassail cups.

    6) Yule logs.

The Christian Religion seems to have copied all of these Pagan ideas for use around Christmas, even though Christianity condemns Paganism. Could it be a more modern version of Paganism since so much seems to be the same?
