Original Sin

This seems to refer to the first 'sin' committed by Eve in the Garden of Eden.

The Catholic Church, and some other Religions, consider all mankind to be tainted by, and guilty of this sin that is blamed on Eve, at least by the Holy Bible.

This concept simply makes no sense whatsoever. How could a benevolent God ever consider all people to be responsible for the 'sin' committed by a person hundreds or thousands of generations ago?

Also, since the Holy Bible and the Koran, the supposed words of God, considers a woman to be only worth about half as much as a man, why would a just God consider a male to have Original Sin since the so-called crime was done by a half worthless person?

People alive today are in no way guilty because Eve 'sinned' against God.

This story seem to me to be something made up by the early male priests to justify their treating woman poorly.

Also remember that Eve may have been the second wife of Adam, after Lilith, who was considered to be as equal in value to Adam.
