Old Testament 

The Old Testament makes up about 2/3 of the current Holy Bible.  It is claimed by most Christians as being the Word of God.

The original version of the Old Testament contained 22 books.

The Christians added a bunch of books to the Old Testament.  See "The Hiram Key" page 47-8 for a list of some of the books added by the Christians.

The Old Testament is probably the most violent and perhaps the most pornographic book ever written and approved for general use.  The Old Testament encourages people to murder their friends, relatives and  neighbors for all kinds of supposed transgressions, many of them rather minor. 

If any person now believed and obeyed the laws of the Old Testament he or she would be a criminal and would be jailed, or hopefully executed, to help protect the public.

The Old Testament condoned and encourages Slavery and considered the Worth of a Woman to be a bit more than that of dog poop.

It blamed a woman for causing the downfall of mankind.

It glorified a man having 700 wives and a few hundred girlfriends, all at the same time.

Some folks even consider it to a worthwhile book of History.

The Old Testament seems to have been written in its final form by about 586 BC. (See MPD_0031)

If it was a movie it would have be be rated as either an "R" or "XXX" for the amount of sex and violence it glorifies.

It is very hard to consider the Holy Bible as being the inspired word of God.  I do not think of the Creator as being that evil or vindictive.
