Noahs Ark

According to the Holy Bible Noah's Ark is said to have been a large boat built by Noah and his family, because he was told to so do by God.  As the story goes God was ticked off at mankind and wanted to destroy all of mankind, and all of the animals, except Noah and his family and a pair of each animal.  It is claimed that God told Noah to build an Ark and collect a male and female of each and every species so that they could again repopulate the Earth after God destroyed it by a flood.

I have no idea how Noah ever got a penguin from Antarctica, a Polar Bear from the Arctic area, or even an American Bison from America, since these areas and these animals were most likely unknown to Noah at that time.

Even back then Noah and his sons would have had to find a source of wood for the boat and find some way of paying for it.

The entire story sounds a lot like it was simply made up by someone at some later time.

If the Ark ever existed it now seems to be missing in action as there seems to be no evidence of it having ever existed except for the tale in the Holy Bible.

If all life after the flood came from these few creatures the problems of inbreeding should have been massive.
