Native American

This term seems to mean, to those who think they are politically correct, a descendent of the misnamed American Indians.

In America, Native Americans (Of American Indian Descent), seem to have more rights than other Americans who were born here.  American Indians are allowed to things that would cause other Americans to wind up in jail.

It really should mean anyone who was born in America.
