Morin, Estienne

He was a Frenchman who created the Order of the Royal Secret which later seems to have been the blueprint for the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry. This seems to have been somewhere around the 1760s.  He had Henry Andrew Francken spread this Rite in the New World about 1767. (See "The Northern Light" May 1998 P14 for more information)
