Mithra or Mithras
Was one of the many Virgin Births throughout History who became God, or the same as God.
Mithra is said to have been born of a Virgin on 25 December about 600 BC just as Jesus Christ is also said to have born in the same manner but about 600 years later. His resurrection is celebrated at Easter. This should sound familiar, at least to Christians.
Also see Mithraism for more information.
See "The Hiram Key" page 44.
The founders of the Catholic Church identified the story of Mithra as being the work of the devil that was designed to parody the life of Jesus Christ. They did not care that the story of Mithra was around long before Jesus Christ was born. This act seems to follow the idea that if you cannot suppress the idea then at least attempt to discredit it to bolster you ideas.
Should a Religion ever do something like that in an attempt to discredit another Religion? Religions do it often! (Who would have thought that any Religion would act like a politician.)
