Prehistoric Masonic History  

This is the legends and myths of the origins of Freemasonry that cannot be proven or even backed up with ancient written documents.  Some of them may be true, but there are so many of them that they cannot all be true.  If one of them is true then many of the others cannot be true.

For example, if Freemasonry started with the building of the Great Pyramid of Egypt, then it cannot have started with the building of King Solomon's Temple. 

Prehistoric Masonic History by its very nature is not written down on anything movable or immovable under the whole canopy of Heaven because if it was written down anywhere in ancient times it would then be Historic Masonic History.

The Prehistoric Masonic History has been passed down by tradition and word of mouth.
