This was a name given to the four parts that the territory captured by the Christians during the First Crusade was broken into by the victors.

The four parts were:

1) Kingdom of Palestine (Capitol was Jerusalem)
2) Kingdom of Syria (Capitol was Antioch)
3) Country of Tripoli (Now Lybia)
4) Country of Edessa (Now Turkey)
