Lambskin

Lambskin is usually the hairless tanned hide of a lamb.

The lambskin, or White Leathern Apron that is worn by Freemasons at all Lodge meetings,  is usually just called an Apron.

For addition information see Apron.

The Lambskin is considered by Freemasons to be the badge of a Freemason and when worthily worn it is an Emblem of Innocence.

Odysseus and his remaining men escaped from Polyphemus by securing themselves under the bellies of sheep (Lambskin covering to protect themselves?).
