Lamb

Lambs is the plural of Lamb.

The Lamb has been considered for a very long time to be a symbol of innocence.

Lambs do not seem to be very intelligent and probably are stupid enough that they cannot be evil, however they do taste great.

Christians use the Lamb as a symbol of Jesus Christ.  This seems to be a reference to the fact that Lambs were often slaughtered as a gift to God, at least during the Age of Aries.  Jesus Christ became called the Lamb of God.  Before that time, during the Age of Taurus, bulls or cows were killed as sacrifices to God. Why would God, who created everything and therefore has everything, ever want mankind to murder and burn up one of God's creatures for God?  Perhaps God really enjoys the smell of burning Lamb when it is burnt by mankind.  Seems a bit odd to me, but then, I am more than a little bit of a Freethinker.

The Lamb of God seems to have something to do with Aries, one of the signs of the Zodiac.  About the time that Jesus Christ is said to have been on the Earth the world was probably in the Age of Aries.  Just before that time we were in the Age of Taurus.  We are now entering the Age of Aquarius.

The skin of a Lamb is called lambskin.  It is used to make the aprons worn by Freemasons as a badge of innocence.

Lambs make a very tasty food especially when roasted slowly over a fire for about 5 hours or so.  Perhaps this is a similar time used by the Inquisition of the Catholic Church for Burning People at the Stake who did not agree totally with the teachings of that Religion.  Who knows?

Ground Lamb, especially when mixed with some ground beef, make a very tasty burger.  Most butcher shops can supply you with Lamb even if they do not carry it in their inventory at all times.  Giant Eagle usually has Lamb, as does Whiting Meats in New Wilmington.

To this day lots of Lamb seem to be eaten around Easter perhaps because Jesus Christ is said to have lived near the end of the Age of Aries.

Probably since somewhere around the supposed birth of Jesus Christ the world entered the Age of Pisces the Christian Church adopted the Fish as a symbol, indicative of the Age of Pisces.  We have now entered, or may soon enter the Age of Aquarius.  Now a large number of people carry a bottle of water with them at all times so they are representing Aquarius by bearing water.  Will a new religion based upon water soon develop and drive out the current religions.  Something to think about, if you have the time.
