La Rochelle

This is said to be the French port where the Knights Templar had their fleet moored when Pope Clement V of the Vatican banned the Knights Templar in 1312. (See "The Templar Pirates" page 1)

It is said that Jacques DeMolay escaped with the fleet only to be captured 4 years later when he returned on a secret mission. (See "The Templar Pirates" page 41)
