Ku Klux Klan 

The Freemasons have been accused by some as having been the founders of the Ku Klux Klan. (See Secret Societies and America's Elite" page 5)

I do not know.

It is probable that some Freemasons were members of the Ku Klux Klan, which seems to have started out as a social club for men after the American Civil War to benefit Civil War veterans. 

It is likely that even some members of the Churches that condemn Masonry may have belonged to the Ku Klux Klan.  Another potential case of the pot calling the kettle black.
