Knights Templar Fleet

The Knights Templar had developed a rather large fleet of ships, many of which were kept at La Rochelle.

The Knights Templar must have had warning of their impending arrest as their fleet was ready to sail when Pope Clement V and King Philip IV of France had them arrested.  The fleet at La Rochelle vanished to somewhere, perhaps to Scotland, Portugal, Sicily, or even to North America near New England.  It may have split up into several parts so as to be harder to track by the Vatican and the French.
