Kingdom of God

The Gnostic Gospels seem to teach that the Kingdom of God is mostly an alteration of consciousness instead of a physical or spiritual future event.

In "The Sophia of Jesus Christ" Jesus Christ said that "What you look forward to has already come, but you do not recognize it ... the Kingdom of the father is spread out on the earth but men do not see it."

The Kingdom of God may already be inside you, and outside of your body.  You just need to discover it.

Probably most Christians, especially clergy, will have a problem with this concept.
