King Louis VII of France

He went to the Holy Land in 1147 on a Crusade. He used the Knights Templar as his banker.  (See "The Knights Templar and their Myth" pages 11)

He was the leader of the Second Crusade which was a failure. (See "The Templar Pirates" page 33)
