Junior Warden

The Station of the Junior Warden in a Lodge is in the South where he is better able to observe the Sun, the Beauty and Glory of the Day, to call the Craft off from Labor to Refreshment and see that they come back to work on time.

The Junior Warden is considered to be the 3rd highest ranking position in a Lodge.

The Office of the Junior Warden is an Elected Office.  He is elected at the December Stated Meeting of the Lodge, at least in our Lodge.  He will Serve the Lodge for one Masonic Year, starting on the next Saint John's Day (December 27).

If all goes according to the plan he will become the Senior Warden after one year as Junior Warden.  This may or may not happen.
