Human Sacrifice

Human Sacrifice was and still is a part of some religions that believe that the God or Gods must be appeased by the blood of murdered humans.

Christianity is based upon human sacrifice as were the religions of the Aztecs and the Maya.

God as understood by Christians required that the blood of Jesus (Son of God) be spilt resulting in the death of Jesus (Son of God) to appease God (The Father) so He (God or Jesus) did not have to keep having humans murder other humans to make God happy.  What a really strange idea.

Many religions seem to enjoy the ritual murder of people to please God.

Since Christians consider God and Jesus to be basically one and the same then God the Creator of all things had himself murdered by being crucified so that He could be reborn in three days so that man did not have to continue killing man in God's name and therefore all who believe in this tale will be saved and go to Heaven for an everlasting life. Wow! Think about his one for a bit of time!  While God was dead who or what controlled the Universe?
