How do you get to Heaven?

As strange as it may seem getting to Heaven seems to depend upon you chosen religion.  Of course most people did not choose their religion, they were simply born to parents of that religion so they joined the religion of their parents without any investigation into the various religions.

Some religions do not even seem to have the concept of Heaven.

If you are a Christian it seems that all you have to do to get to Heaven is to believe in the Holy Trinity at the time of your death. Since Adolf Hitler was a Catholic if he believed in the Trinity at the time of his death he should be in Heaven, even though he was one of the most evil men of all time.  Perhaps Hitler may be your roommate when you get to Heaven.  Others like Thomas Jefferson, since he seems to have been just a Deist and as such did not consider Jesus Christ to be God, cannot be in Heaven according to the beliefs of Christianity as I understand them. I somehow think that I would rather have dinner in Heaven with Thomas Jefferson than with Adolf Hitler. Who knows.

Some religions may tell you that you can go to Heaven if you pay that particular Church enough money.

This is a real good question and one that requires a lot more study than most people are willing to spend on the topic.

Perhaps there is no Heaven and once we die it is all over.
