Horus

Horus was the son of Isis and Osiris. 

Horus battled with Set and became king of Egypt.

Each Egyptian king became known as Horus and when he died he became Osiris and his son became the new Horus.

Thus the King becomes the 'Son of God' since since he is always the son of the God Osiris. 

Horus cut off the testicles of Set.

Each Egyptian King was considered, like Jesus Christ, to be a Son of God.

I have no idea how much of this section is true.  

Horus and Jesus Christ have a lot in common.

Horus, like Christ, is said to have been born of the Virgin Isis on 25 December in a cave or manger. 

The birth of Horus was announced by a Star in the East and he was visited by wise men, just like Jesus Christ was many years later.

His father was "Seb" (Joseph) and was also known as "Geb".

Horus was a teacher in a Temple at the age of 12, just like Jesus.

At age 30 Horus was baptized in the river Eridanus or Iarutana (Jordan) by Anup the Baptizer after having disappeared for 18 years. Anup seems to have been a name used for John like in John the Baptist.  Anup the Baptizer was beheaded like John the Baptist.

He, like Jesus, had 12 disciples, two of whom were called Anup and Aan, similar to the two Johns of Jesus.

Horus is said to have performed miracles and exorcised demons.

He is said to have raised El-Azaruz (El-Osiris) from the dead.  The name seems very similar to the Lazarus of the Holy Bible of Christianity.

He was killed, buried for 3 days in a tomb, and then raised from the dead by being resurrected. Upon his death he became Osiris of God.

He was considered the "Way, the Truth, and the Light."

He was considered the "Messiah," "God's Anointed Son," the "Son of Man," the "Good Shepherd," the "Lamb of God," and the "Word of Truth."  Any of this sound familiar to Christians?

Horus was called "Holy Child," as well as "the Anointed One," while Osiris was the KRST.

Horus was AKA the "Fisher" and was associated with the Fish, Lamb and Lion.

He came to fulfill the Law.

He was to reign for 1000 years.
