Said to have been born in 989 BC and to have ruled Tyre from 970 BC until 936 BC.

Hiram, King of Tyre is considered in Masonic Legend to have been one of the Three Grand Masters involved in the construction of King Solomon's Temple. 

Hiram, King of Tyre is said to have sent King Solomon a cunning worker named Hiram Abif since the Israelites knew almost nothing about constructing anything.
