Great Object of Our Desire 

The Great Object of Our Desire is Knowledge.

All Masons are encouraged to expand their knowledge in all fields, especially in the seven liberal arts.

All humans should attempt to increase their knowledge.  Most do not choose to so do, and thus remain ignorant.
