Golden Calf 

Moses is said to have gotten rather miffed when he came off the mountain and discovered his people worshipping a Golden Calf. 

The Israelites were not to be doing that any more, probably because the Age of Taurus was about over by that time.  It was now the time for the Age of Aires, the Lamb (Lamb of God or the Ram), to be worshipped instead of Taurus, The Bull (Cattle or the Golden Calf).

The Age of Aires came after the Age of Taurus ended.  Each age is about 2160 years long and is caused by the wobble of the axis of the Earth.

About the time of Jesus Christ the Age of Pisces started and somewhere around the year 2160 AD the Age of Aquarius will start.  The Age of Aquarius may be the end of Christianity which seems to the upcoming religion of the Age of Pisces.
