God's Representative on Earth

The Pope and some members of the Roman Catholic Church seem to consider the Pope to be God's Representative on Earth.

Most rest of the people on Earth, the other 83% of the population, do not consider the Pope to be anyway near this important.  To most of them the Pope is simply the CEO of the Catholic Church and most people who are not members of the Catholic Church do not really care even a little bit what the Pope says about anything.  Even a lot of Catholics do not obey the commands of the Pope.
