Freemasonry and God

One great thing about Freemasonry is the fact that Freemasons do not care who their members consider to be their 'god' and the do not care what name  their 'god' is called.

Freemasons only care that the the person has a belief in the Supreme Being.  The name of the Supreme Being is not important.

This seems to be why the Freemasons refer to the Supreme Being as the Great Architect of the Universe, or abbreviated as GAOTU.

The discussion of any particular Religion is forbidden by a wise rule of the Freemasons.

If you happen to believe that that the stale moldy left over bread in you cupboard is the creator of the universe then so be it.  We only ask if you believe in the Supreme Being.  As long as you have a belief in the Supreme Being the Freemasons will not discriminate against you.  The Freemasons care not one bit the name you use for the Supreme Being, or your interpretation of the Supreme Being.  There can only be one Supreme Being so we must all be worshiping the same entity even though or ideas may differ.

The Freemasons will probably not even ask you the name you use for the Supreme Being since they do not care what you call the Supreme Being.  Your religious beliefs are entirely up to you.
