Fountain Pens is the plural of Fountain Pen.

The Fountain Pen is an instrument used for writing with ink.  There are still a fair amount of Fountain Pen Companies in business today.

It was a great improvement oven the quill pen which had to be dipped in ink quite often.

The Fountain Pen has a reservoir which can be refilled from an ink well so that it can be used to write a fair amount before it must be refilled.

The Fountain Pen was pretty much replaced by the invention of the ball point pen but some people still prefer a Fountain Pen.  I am one of those people and I very seldom will use a ball point pen.  I even use a Fountain Pen to take notes at meetings of our Lodge.

Many Fountain Pens are works of art and show great craftsmanship.  They are also a lot more expensive than the common pen.

When a Fountain Pen runs out of ink one simply refills it from a bottle of Fountain Pen Ink or from an inkwell filled with Fountain Pen Ink, instead of throwing it away.

Some Fountain Pens are extremely expensive and some are much more reasonable in cost.  At least one company is making a disposable Fountain Pen.  It works fairly well with a steel nib but is not near as easy to use as a Fountain pen with a solid 18 karat Gold nib that has been trained for the writer's hand.
