Forbidden Topics of Discussion In Lodge

There are two topics that are not, and cannot, be discussed during an open meeting of a Lodge.

They are:

    1) Religion
Anything that favors one Religion over another Religion.

    2) Politics
Anything that favors one side over another

Arguments about Religion or Politics have caused an immeasurable amount of suffering and death.

In Freemasonry your Religion is up to you as long as you express a belief in the Supreme Being.  So are your political views but I would have to say that most Masons are more than a bit Conservative in their politics.

These topics may be discussed after the meeting.
