Fear of God 

The Revealed Religions have convinced a large portion of mankind to Fear their creator known as God.

These Revealed Religions have convinced many that they must give sacrifices to God , now usually in the form of American Dollars, to cause God to think favorable of them.  The Fear of God has enabled the various Expansionist Religion to gain power and influence since they have massive quantities of tax-exempt cash to spend.

I have no idea why an all-powerful God would have created mankind and then required mankind to fear God.  This Fear of God is probably a creation of Religion in an attempt to get believers to give a lot of money so that the Leaders of the Church will not have to toil in the fields for their living.  To get a pay increase the priest simply needs to convince more people that they need to give more money to the church so that God will find favor with them for giving His Church Money.
