Election of 1832 

Andrew Jackson and Henry Clay, winners of the election of 1832, were opposed by a candidate for the Anti-Masonic political party.  During this election it is said that in both Pennsylvania and New York, Freemasons were excluded from churches and their children were denied schooling. Only Vermont was carried by the Anti-Masonic party.
