Eating God

Some Religions, most notably the Catholic Religion, believe, or at least claim, that the Host served at Communion is the body and blood of Jesus Christ. The transformation of the communion substance into the body of Jesus Christ is called Transubstantiation. Eating one's God is AKA Theophagy. Most Protestant Religions consider the Host or Communion to simply represent the Body and Blood of God, so they are still Eating God symbolically.
I wonder if God appreciates his creations eating Him!
Seems to be a lot like some strange form of Cannibalism. Many ancient cultures especially in Central and South America, and some current day ones, still practice Cannibalism.
Mithraism had a similar belief long before Christianity became popular.
This should cause one to use their God-given brain to think in a reasonable manner.
