Count Hugh de Champagne

Hugh de Payen traveled to Jerusalem in about 1104 with Hugh of Champagne. (See "The Second Messiah" p 74)

He was a French noble who became the 10th member of the Knights Templar when he joined with the original nine members. (See "The Templar Pirates" page 28) Hugh of Champagne again went to Jerusalem in 1124 and then joined the Knights Templar becoming its 11th member. (See "The Second Messiah" p 84) One of these two sources is incorrect about something as a man cannot be the 10th and the 11th member.
