Creation of the Universe

The Creation of the Universe is a hotly contested topic, with no clear provable answer.
Some great questions.
1) Who created the universe?
2) When was the universe created?
3) How was the universe created?
4) Why was the universe created?
5) Is there only one universe?
6) Will the universe ever end?
7) Does the universe really exist or is all a simulation like a computer game?
It seems that each and every Religion has its own idea about the Creation of the Universe that it 'knows' to be correct without any reasonable proof. Most Religions consider any belief that is not its own to be a Pagan belief. All people who follow a religion seem to be considered as pagans by all other religions. I guess we are all pagans according to someone. The Creator or the Great Architect of the Universe probably gets real chuckle out of this fact.
For the Christian version of creation read Genesis Chapter 1 and then compare it to the Enuma Elish story of the creation for ancient Mesopotamia. Change a few words and they are very similar. Guess which version came before the other! For more information see "The Hiram Key" page 85.

Creation
Some folks, most Christians, think (know) that the universe was created by the the Supreme Being simply known as God, to the Christians. The Holy Bible informs us of this in the Book of Genesis in these words, "In the beginning God created the heavens and the Earth." In the Christian mind no other explanation is needed, desired, or tolerated. They are correct and consider those who do not agree with them to be heathens, or Pagans. Over time the Christians have killed probably tens of millions of people who did not agree with them.
Many American Indians believed that the universe was created by the Great Spirit, their name for the great god. The American Indian name for God was not good enough for the Christians, who are said to have come to America for religious freedom, so they killed off most of the American Indians thus denying the American Indians any Freedom of Religion. Most Religions seem to only want Freedom of Religion for those who believe the same way they believe.
Muslims seem to believe that the creator was named Allah, their name for the Supreme Being. The Muslims, just like the Christians, are intolerant of other ideas so they also killed a whole lot of people, mostly Christians and Jews but also others including their own. They are still killing people for Allah.
Some scientists proposed that the universe may have happened when 'nothing' split into matter and anti-matter with a net total mass of nothing. This seems to make some sense in that there is no need for someone or something else to have created a Creator to have created the universe. Most religions do not really like scientists unless those scientists are developing more efficient methods of killing heathens for their particular religion.
Fortunately, we as Freemasons do not really care what name a person uses for the creator of the universe, so we do no have to kill each other over a name change. The Freemasons simply refer to the Creator as the Great Architect of the Universe. Sums it up rather well and prevents a lot of problems.
If we assume that the Supreme Being created the universe it would have had to be just one Supreme Being or the plans for the universe would probably still be in a committee of the gods and the gods would be killing each other over the size of the planets and how close they could be to each other, and perhaps over whether they should spin Deosil or Widdershins, or not rotate on their axis at all.
Perhaps the ancient Greeks were right in their belief that the Universe created the Gods and not the other way around. ("Mythology" by Hamilton page 24)
