Creation Myths 

Since there have been many civilizations on Earth, there are many Creation Myths.  Perhaps one of them may be correct.  Perhaps none of the Creation Myths are correct.  Each Religion considers their idea to be the one and only true concept about the creation and each Religion considers its Creation Myth to be absolutely true and it considers all other ideas to be false.  Your Religion has probably taught you the "correct' version of creation.  If you do not totally agree with the Creation Myth as your Religion preaches then you are most likely a heathen and therefore deserve to be killed off in some unpleasant manner that will please God, as your Religion understands God.

Of course no Religion considers its version of Creation to be a myth.  Each Religion knows that its version of the Creation is correct and it knows that all who do not agree with their ideas are doomed.

God probably gets a chuckle out of all of this.
