During the time of Hammurabi the Babylonian priests reworked the Sumerian and
Akkadian learnings to enhance the powers of Marduk.
Marduk
thus became the chief of
the gods.
This idea was later echoed in the Biblical Book of Genesis with the Christian God as the Creator.
