Copper or Cu 

The chemical symbol for Copper is Cu.

Copper is used for the manufacture of pipe for plumbing and for wire for electricity.

Up until 1982 the American One Cent Piece was made of copper.  After 1982 this coin is mostly Zinc.

Copper was used by some of the Native Americans as an tool for flint knapping. It works quite well in that capacity.
