Christianity and Sun Worship
If you are a so-called "Born-Again" Christian you will probably consider this page to be blasphemy or worse. If you are a Freethinker you will at least read and think about these comments and realize that they make sense and may be true.
Much of Christianity seems to be based upon worship of the Sun and its seemingly observed movements with respect to the Earth.
Sun Worshipers worshiped the Sun and Christianity worships the Son. Slightly different spelling.
Sun Worshipers, or their priests, face the East to observe the rising Sun just like many Christians, or their priests, face the East.
Sun Worship sites, like Christian sites usually line up on an East-West Line from the rising sun to the setting sun.
Jesus Christ, the Son of God according to the Christians, is usually shown with the halo, often called a Glory, of the Sun around His head.
The important holidays of Christianity are on or very near the important feast days of the Sun-Worshipers.
According to Thomas Paine, both Christianity and Freemasonry, both derived from the worship of the Sun. See "The Origin of Freemasonry" by Thomas Paine which is saved as MPD_0038 in this website.
