Boston Tea Party

Boston Tea Party is said by some to have been done, and may have been done, by members of the St. Andrews Lodge who usually met at the Green Dragon Inn in Boston on 16 Dec 1773.

The Boston Tea Party is said to have been an entirely Masonic event that was carried out by Freemasons who attended Saint John's Lodge, or perhaps St. Andrews Lodge. (See "Rule by Secrecy" page 232.)

It is said that the Boston Tea Party was planned at St. Andrews Lodge in Boston. (See "Who's Afraid of Freemasons?" by Piatigorsky page 192)

Paul Revere is said to have been a member of the Boston Tea Party.  He had been made a Mason in St. Andrews Lodge on 24 Sep 1760.

Masonic participation in the Boston Tea Party is not known for sure, at least as far as I know.

Probably at least some Masons participated in the event.

It is also said that the Boston Tea Party was done by the Sons of Liberty. ("The Little Book of Freemasonry" p61)
