Barabbas
Barabbas, according to the Holy Bible and Christianity, was the wicked murderer who the wicked Jews chose to release instead of Jesus Christ.
However the term Barabbas was probably not a name, but a title that meant "Son of God'.
It is said that early versions of Matthew verse 27:16 used the term 'Jesus Barabbas' which leads to the question of who was really crucified on the cross, if anyone. See "The Hiram Key" page 50.
The more I study the less I seem to really know about Religion and History. It really makes one wonder what is the truth and what is simply lies. Perhaps this is why early leaders of at least the Christians, did not encourage, and worked hard at preventing, the common followers acquiring a lot of Knowledge.
Barabbas is considered by many Christians to be the murderer who was released by the Jews instead of Jesus Christ.
The word Barabbas is said to have been a title meaning "Son of God" which could mean that the names were screwed up during translation of the early documents.
