Balloting in Pennsylvania before 2010
Before 01 January 2010 a man could only become a Mason, in Pennsylvania if no member present at the time the balloting is had voted against the candidate for membership.
I personally do not agree with this but it has been changed by the newest Right Worshipful Grand Master of Pennsylvania.
This changed effective 01 Jan 2010 to allow a man to become a member of a Lodge if no more than two current members voted against the Candidate.
