Avalon or Land of Avelon

The Land of Avalon is said to have been the place where King Arthur went after being mortally wounded, but did not die, to recover and later return to help his country.

It was a land across the sea to the West from the homeland of King Arthur.  Perhaps it was America.

It may have also been known as La Merica whose location was indicated by the star Merica.
