Aphrodite

Aphrodite was AKA Venus

Aphrodite was the Goddess of Love & Beauty

Aphrodite beguiled all, men and Gods alike.

Aphrodite was the irresistible Goddess who stole the wits of the wise.

In the Iliad Aphrodite was the daughter of Zeus and Dione.  Later Aphrodite is said to have sprung from the foam of the sea.

Her sea-birth is said to have occurred near Cythera.

Aphrodite is sometimes called Cythera or the Cyprian.

Aphrodite has been considered a weak creature who nobody need fear.

Aphrodite is said to have been treacherous and malicious.

Often Aphrodite is said to have been the wife of Hephaestus (AKA Vulcan) the God of the forge, who has also been sometimes known as Tubal Cain.

Her tree was the myrtle.

Her bird was the dove, or the sparrow, or the swan.

It is said that when Aphrodite, AKA Venus, is unfaithful, Vulcan pounds his forge so hard that mountains shake and volcanoes erupt.

Sounds like what we would now call a real fox!
