American Indians

American Indians are considered to be the people who were living in America when America was 'discovered' by Christopher Columbus.  The term was a mistake but has been used for so long that it seems to be correct.

They are also often referred to as Native Americans.  If a European family was living in America before 1492, would their descendents be called American Indians?

Perhaps someday, in the right (but not necessarily politically correct) environment, we may learn that life really started in America and branched out from there. 

Perhaps we might even find out that America was the Garden of Eden and all human life spread out for America!  Probably not since this would infringe on too many people in positions of authority and power, be they religious or political, and we should remember that they are the ones who write, and rewrite, History.

Note: The author of this site has often been know to have ideas or thoughts that are sometimes considered weird by people who already 'know' everything, or at least think they do.  I am known to often throw out ideas that are designed to make people think.  Be a Freethinker.  Study and enjoy gaining Knowledge!

Many American Indians have become Freemasons.

The Christians who came to America supposedly for Freedom of Religion did a pretty good job of eliminating the native people they found in America.  The concept of the Freedom of Religion that was sought by the Christians did not often, if ever, apply to the American Indians.  The American Indians were considered by the Christians as a lower form of life in addition to being considered Pagans so they were systematically eliminated as rapidly as they could be murdered.  Some may have even been converted to Christianity and then still killed.  Of course good old greed and the desire to conquer land may also have played a more major major role than the stated reason of wanting to have Freedom of Religion.  It seems like the Christians only wanted Freedom of Religion to apply to those who were Christians.  We need to add most of the American Indians who were murdered by the Christians to our list of People who have been Killed in the Name of God.
