Amen
(Created 01 Jan 2010 and modified on 31 Jul 2010 23:59 )

Amen may have come from the Hebrew meaning "Verily" or "Truly" or "Certainly" and is used to confirm the words of a speaker, teacher, or priest.

Amen is also the one of the spellings of the Egyptian Creator God (Amon-ra, Amen-ra, Amon, or Amen), or Sun God.  Perhaps the practice of ending Christian prayers with 'Amen' is just another way of keeping in line with the possible idea that Christianity is simply a modified form of ancient Sun Worship

You should practice Freethinking and think about this possibility.

Instead of using 'Amen', the Freemasons use 'So Mote it Be', which seems to mean the same thing.
