ADDRESSING MASONS IN THE LODGE

In Pennsylvania, every Mason is addressed first as "BROTHER".

In addressing Lodge Members the salutation should be such as 
"Brother Jones", using only his last name, unless the first 
name is necessary to designate which "Brother Jones".

In addressing Lodge Officers the salutation should be "Brother 
Secretary", using only the title of his office.

In addressing distinguished visitors, use the full name and 
title and mention their Jurisdiction if it is other than 
Pennsylvania. For example, "Brother John A. Jones, Most 
Worshipful Past Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of New Jersey".

In addressing Past Masters, state their full name and title. 
For example, "Brother John A. Jones, Past Master".
In addressing Grand Lodge Officers, state their full name and 
title. For example, "Brother Thomas W. Jackson, Right Worshipful 
Grand Secretary".

In addressing the District Deputy Grand Master of your Masonic 
District, state his full name and title. For example, 
"Brother John A. Jones, District Deputy Grand Master". 
Should he be from another Masonic District, add his Masonic 
District letter or number. For Example, "Brother John A. Jones, 
District Deputy Grand Master of Masonic District "C", or 
Brother John A. Jones, District Deputy Grand Master of the 
37th Masonic District.

In addressing the Right Worshipful Grand Master, address him as 
"Brother Carl W. Stenberg, Jr., Right Worshipful Grand Master".
