Adam

According to the Holy Bible Adam was the first man God created on Earth. 

It is said that since Adam had no mate to play with God took one of his ribs and turned it into Eve who became his wife. (I wonder who they bought their marriage permit from.  Who did their AIDS test? Did they get wedding presents? The wedding reception was probably rather sparsely attended if they were, as the Holy Bible indicates the first two people on Earth.  Did they live together before becoming husband and wife, or did they become husband and wife when Eve was created from Adam by God?)  What was the legal age for marriage?  Were they able to consecrate the marriage as soon as Eve was born or did she have to attain some legal age before they could have sex and produce Able?  When one studies something more questions are usually generated.

The Children of Adam and Eve are said to have been first Cain (Genesis 4-1), then Able (Genesis 4-2) , then Seth (Genesis 4-24) and then others (Genesis 5-4).  The others are said to have been both male and female.  Females are probably not listed in the Holy Bible since the Holy Bible (and thus Christianity) considers the Worth of a Woman to be only about half that of a man.  Many Christians and Muslims still consider the female to be unworthy of being a priest of preacher. Adam and Eve must have been busy raising all these children at their age.

Of course Eve likely was the second wife of Adam, after Lilith, who is considered  by same to have been created by God at the same time as Adam and Lilith was considered to have been equal in value to Adam so she did not have to submit to the will of Adam, being his equal.  This concept could not fit well in any male dominated religion so perhaps Eve was later created in the minds of some priests to justify the belief that the woman is inferior to man since she was created by man.

Adam is said the fathered Seth at age 130 years.  (See Genesis 5-3.)

Adam is said to have lived a total of 930 years.

Adam may simply be the name used by the Christians to indicate the constellation Bootes, along with considering Eve to be Virgo. The creation of Adam and the making of Eve from Adam's rib is considered to be about the start of the Age of Taurus.  When God chased Adam and Eve out of the Garden of Eden , Virgo (Eve) sunk below the horizon and Perseus with his sword rose above the horizon as if chasing them out of the Garden of Eden.
